The purpose of this blog is to discuss all matters of interest to patent practitioners or stakeholders – from a French perspective. Therefore, readers can expect a particular focus on French case law, but also news from the European Patent Office or the Unified Patent Court.
As readers will no doubt have noticed, although this blog is to some extent concerned with baguettes, berets, red wine, frogs and anything remotely French-like, it is actually an English-speaking one. I do hope that my readers and especially my fellow citizens will pardon my English. But I have a feeling that French patent law and practice are not very well known and discussed abroad, much less so than, say British or German patent law and practice. My hope is that this blog can contribute to an increased foreign awareness of whatever interesting is going on in this country.
I do not underestimate the difficult task of keeping readers satisfied by providing them with a sufficient influx of fresh posts. So, guest posts as well as other forms of contribution are very welcome.
